Frequently Asked Questions

How much does it cost to register?

Spring 2025 Season Fees:

  • T-Ball (ages 4-6): $100
  • Rookies (ages 6-8): $130
  • Minors (ages 8-10): $150
  • Majors (ages 10-12): $160

Note: Fees for the 2025 Spring season will be announced in November.

Age for division selection is based on your child’s age as of May 1, 2025.
Example: If Little Mickey is 6 years old now but will turn 7 before May 1st, he must register for the Rookies division as he will age out of T-Ball during the season.

Once I register, what should I expect next?

  • Minors & Majors: Player Evaluations (tryouts) are typically held during the first two weekends of February. Players will be evaluated by coaches and drafted to teams. Evaluation times will be announced closer to the event.
  • T-Ball & Rookies: Teams will be assigned by the Executive Board.

Coaches will reach out by mid-February to provide details such as uniform color (pants/belt/socks) and practice schedules.

When does the season start?

  • Spring 2025 Opening Weekend: Information will be available in January 2025.
  • The game schedule is typically available by March 1st and will include opening weekend details.

When are games and practices?

  • Practice Schedules: Determined by the coaches, with at least one practice per week.
  • Games: Generally one weeknight (Monday-Thursday) and one weekend game.
    • Weeknight games start at 6:00 PM
    • Weekend games vary between 8:00 AM - 3:30 PM
    • All games are held at Central Elementary School

Schedules are typically available by March 1st, but are subject to change due to weather, field conditions, or other factors.

I made a mistake / I changed my mind / My kid changed their mind. How can I request a refund?

  • Refund requests can be made by emailing us at CentralCalRipken@outlook.com.
    • Please include your player’s name and date of birth for easy identification.
    • Refunds will be issued to the original form of payment, and may take up to 7-10 business days to appear.

Please note: Refunds are not permitted once teams are formed (typically the weekend of player evaluations for Minors/Majors). Once rosters are finalized, uniforms are ordered, and insurance is paid, your registration fees have been allocated to other vendors and are non-refundable.

If you selected supplemental insurance during registration, contact the insurance provider directly for a refund claim.
